Breakthrough Article Marketing - Announcing 6 Must-Have Secrets to Jumpstart Your Article Marketing

Do you want to start your article marketing efforts with a bang? These 6 must-have secrets can help you do just that.

1. Choose your topics. When writing your articles for your article marketing campaign, you have to consider these things: they must be relevant to your target niche, useful to your potential clients, and related to the products you are selling. The idea behind this is to write articles that can attract the right kind of people - those who are most likely to buy from you.

2. Register on leading article submission sites. Most publishers will not allow you to submit your articles unless you create an account with their submission sites. While you're at it, read carefully and understand the terms of service set form by each site. This can help you create articles that conform to their standards so you lessen the chances of your articles being rejected.

3. Multiply your articles. In article marketing, the more articles you produce, the more traffic will be diverted to your website. Strive to produce at least 5-7 articles per day to obtain enough quality inbound links to popularize your website and strengthen your online presence.

4. Optimize your content. Search engines are major considerations when marketing your articles online. They are your greatest tool in connecting to your target market through the use of keywords and search terms.

5. Never use spinning software. Some marketers who are aiming at obtaining more quality inbound links resort to spinning software. While these tools can help you re-write your existing articles quickly, they cannot guarantee the quality.

6. Your articles must be concise. Every word that you use on your articles must have direct impact on your target market or helps you to better explain your ideas. If they don't, they are considered fillers.

Keyword Analysis - Finding Out What Your Customers Are Searching For

Before you can start optimizing your web copy and meta tags, you need to know what words you're optimizing it for. What words do you want to rank well for? To answer this question, you need to know what words your customers (or potential customers) are searching for. This is called performing a keyword analysis.

Keyword analysis involves a bit of research and a good knowledge of your business and the benefits you offer your customers.

There are several websites specifically designed to make keyword analysis easier. Two examples are:

  1. Overtures inventory tool (inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/). This tool is free and very easy to use and understand, but (last time I looked) it only tells you how many searches have been conducted in the previous month for your keyword (and similar keywords).
  2. WordTracker (wordtracker.com). WordTracker is a much more powerful tool, but you have to pay to use it (you can subscribe for a day for around $10). WordTracker helps you find the most appropriate keyword for your site by telling you what people are really searching for. Heres how it works You type in a word which summarizes what you do, and it tells you how many times that word has been searched for in the last month. It also tells you how many other websites are using that word as a keyword (i.e. targeting the same customers you are). Based on this information, it rates the word. The best keywords are the ones that a lot of people are searching for but which few websites are targeting. WordTracker even suggests and rates alternative related words.

TIP: When youre using WordTracker, bear in mind that its just talking about numbers, and numbers dont always tell the whole story. So dont just jump in and use the best rated keywords; you need to consider your own situation. It may be the case that youre forced to select a keyword phrase which is not rated particularly highly. There are two situations in which this might happen:

  • Youre in a niche market with relatively few customers searching for the keyword. In this situation, youll probably find it relatively easy to reach the top of the rankings, but you wont generate a huge volume of traffic when you get there.
  • A lot of your competitors are targeting your keyword (its hotly contested) but its the only one you can use. If you target it, youll just have to work a bit harder on your backlinks in order to rank highly. When theres a lot of competition for a keyword, its likely that the traffic payoff is good once you reach top.

Article Marketing - Announcing 3 Proven Ways to Supercharge Your Article Marketing

Article marketing remains to be the best way to draw qualified traffic to your website and effectively convince your target market that you are an authority on your chosen niche who can provide them with sound solutions to their problems.

Here are the 3 proven ways to supercharge you article marketing:

1. Generate attention for your articles by giving them compelling and striking titles. As a marketer, you need to fully understand the role of effective titles on your article marketing campaign. As you know, there are billions of articles that are currently posted online. When people search for information they need, they are usually presented with numerous articles. You would want to give your articles an edge so online users will favor them over the other articles, right? You can make your articles more attractive by giving them attention-grabbing and enticing titles.

2. Know how to keep your readers interested. Grabbing the attention of your potential clients doesn't end with your titles. You have to make sure that your content is worth reading and informative so your readers will be enticed to read your articles in their entirety. Strive to make each of your articles content-rich, well-written, easy to understand, short, scannable, direct to the point, and fact-based. By doing so, you will be able to provide your readers with great reading experience that can lead to continued patronage of your other articles and subsequently your products.

3. Make a strong call to action. What would you like your readers to do after reading your articles? Do you want them to visit your website, subscribe to your email marketing list, or purchase your products? Whatever is your objective, make sure that your call to action is powerful enough to move your readers to act in your favor.

Your Web Writing Business - Get Started Article Marketing Today

If you can write well enough to write an email message you can make money writing for the Web with article marketing.

How much money?

That's up to you. There are hundreds of thousands of products you can sell with article marketing. It's possible to make much more than you make with your day job (even a highly paid one). It all depends on how how keen you are; basically on how much you write.

Get started making money: find something to sell

Your first step in article marketing is to find something to sell. Perhaps you're already an affiliate for a product or service.

(An "affiliate" is someone who promotes a product or service in order to get a commission on a sale.)

If you're not yet an affiliate, visit some of the popular affiliate networks, and sign up. Choose a product to sell, and you're good to go.

Here's a tip: promote products or services which you've used, and which you like. It's much easier to promote something when you have personal experience with it.

Write a couple of articles and post them online

As an article marketer, you promote your products by writing articles, and your primary tool is the "resource" or "bio box" at the end of the article.

So write a couple of articles to promote your affiliate product. The reason for writing a couple at one session is that once you're warmed up, it's as easy to write two articles as it is to write one - the second article will take you much less time than the first.

Now spend some time crafting a good resource box. This is your chance to be paid for your writing, so make your resource box effective. Ask yourself WHY someone would want to buy the product you're promoting, and emphasize that in your resource box.

You can post your articles to an article directory online, or you can set up a Web page at Squidoo, and post your articles there.

Article marketing is very easy, and it's profitable too. It's the ideal way to start your Web writing business.
